Position Summary: 

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and client requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with technology, sales, marketing, and support teams to create winning products and ensure revenue and client satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s responsibility also includes ensuring the products supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

 

Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support enhancements for existing EFI products including 360fi client portal and modules – Invoice Intel, Contract Locker, and Vendor Insights
  • Work with key stakeholders to plan and implement new features of 360fi such as secure document exchange, industry news, market insights, and webinars. Solicit feedback from clients to ensure products are meeting their needs and suggest improvements
  • Gain a deep understanding of the client experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve client experience and drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and client impact
  • Work closely with technology teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches including working with marketing team, sales, executives, technology, and other team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Build awareness and understanding of the products
  • Represent the company by meeting with clients to solicit feedback on company products and services

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of related product management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Experience in working with solutions involving enterprise-grade software applications
  • Financial Industry experience preferably in operational technology such as payments, digital, core account processing
  • Experience with Document Management, Project Management application, Sales CRM platforms, Quality Measurement and reporting
  • Experience and enthusiasm working with Agile software development practices -- 
    • Focused on defining users' (whether internal or external) needs, desires, and opportunities for value-add, not strict requirements
    •  
    • Comfortable defining features in terms of minimum viable functionality, with an emphasis on delivering value-added functionality incrementally and not perfect or complete functionality on the first try
    • Understanding that product development priorities will include a mixture of client-visible features and underlying architectural and "behind-the-scenes" changes to keep up with best practices, pay off tech debt as needed, and improve efficiencies not directly visible to the client
    • Committed to defining and maintaining prioritization of features or product changes and working with development team on pursuing items in that priority order
  • Experience synthesizing and balancing different client populations' desires into a realistic vision for a shared product, with the inevitable compromises and tradeoffs that requires

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full Time/ 40 hours per week

 

Location:

  • Remote
  • 10-20% Travel required
