Analyst, Consulting Services

Overview:

Engage fi is seeking an Analyst to directly support our consulting service offerings. An individual in this role will be reviewing and analyzing large amounts of data. The focus of this role would be to analyze client invoices, identify service offering, volumes, and comparing like services for competing vendors. They will work directly with consultants and vendors ensure that pricing presentation to clients is accurate and timely.

The Analyst will also serve as a liaison to the Technology department to contribute to the accuracy of the data in the invoice database.

To be successful in this role, this individual will be capable of highly-focused, detail-oriented work; they'll be able to work independently under general guidance, prioritize tasks, and juggle multiple concurrent projects and deliverables. This role reports to the Vice President of Client Experience. 

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited to:

  • Analyzing vendor pricing to determine best solution for clients
  • Assess and analyze data from a variety of sources to gain insights into current client pricing.
  • Working with vendors to understand pricing/invoice attributes
  • Tracking vendor information to present to Analytics team for model adjustments/ changes.
  • Assist Consultant in forecasting project level revenue
  • Collaborating with Client Experience departments on implementing vendor pricing trends and changes.
  • Collaborate with Analytics on dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.
  • Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to consultants, project managers and clients.
  • Keeping informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.

 

Required Skills:

  • Zeal for accuracy, quality, rigor, and consistency 
  • Excellent team player; self-starter and the ability to work unsupervised 
  • Highly adaptable in a dynamic environment 
  • Strong financial modeling experience
  • Must be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Excel 

Required Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or at least 5 years of related work experience
  • A minimum of five years' experience as a pricing analyst in a similar industry.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
  • Experience in collaborating on project teams
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools.
  • Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
